Shawn and Sakeena have been married for over 30 years and are proud parents to a sibling trio they lovingly adopted. For roughly two decades Shawn has served as a minister and currently the minister in Everett, Washington, and Sakeena stands alongside him as partner in ministry, mentor, and community advocate.

Together they’ve built a life rooted in service, faith, and community. Their hands-on experience in ministeral life and family ministry has led them to counsel congregations, lead small groups, and support families navigating the challenges of life. As community advocates they champion programs that strengthen families, promote healing, and create safe spaces for growth.

Their shared gifts extend to public ministry: they are seasoned motivational speakers, collaborative authors, and working on stage plays that explore faith, healing, and family. Their work blends storytelling with practical wisdom—drawing on real-life experiences to inspire, equip, and encourage others.
